This is the second Eufy I have owned. (My old one died and needed a new battery, so my husband got it for the garage).
The “Max” is used weekly to clean the bathroom, bedroom and closet. It can clean the perimeter and also Auto clean on one charge. It does a wonderful job and is easy to empty and clean the filter. I do recommend Eufy 11S Max.

Awesome robot vacuum for hardwood and low pile carpet floors. Runs for a long time. Teaches itself how to travel through house and return to base. Picks up dirt and dust well. Easy to clean. Compact, doesn't take up a lot of room. Quieter than other robot vacuum models I have. Wish I had purchased two while they were on.sale!

Has not worked once at all. I have to go through this whole “fix it” process and the parts are not fixing the vacuum. Now I have to escalate the issue and wait for it to go to the next step. Do not buy their refurbished products. Spend the money and get a new one. I have tons of Eufy products I’ve bought brand new and have had zero issues.

I was stunned when I saw how much dust, etc. was collected the first time. I was even more stunned 2 days later when I used it again and there was almost the same amount. Mind you, it's just me and my husband and a puppy, and the puppy is surely responsible for some of it, but he has 3 mats he walks on before he gets to the living room where the new flooring is. So while I'm not sure where it all comes from, I'm thrilled that Eufy picks it up. I do wish there were less maintenance involved. Emptying the dust bin is understandable, but having to clean the filter every time and then replace various parts every 2 to 6 months seems a bit excessive. But it does a better job vacuuming (going under the couch and a chest of drawers) than I would so it's worth the bother.

Not sure about changes

I have an older 11S, and it has two edge cleaning brushes. This one only has one. You can see the outline of where the second would go, but it's sealed. There is only one filter to clean, and it is washable, which is a plus. Time will tell if it cleans as well as the older model.

11S Max a good design gets a down grade

You all have treated me well and have no negative complaint to offer.
I was however very disappointed in the new 11S Max being down graded to a two zone cleaning robot. Given that this is a basic bounce vac the second side brush really adds to its performance. I realize that the mapping vac can make the necessary adjustments for only having the one side brush. But the bounce vac really benefits from having all 3 cleaning zone as a standard feature. I would strongly recommend you add the second side brush back. You are welcome to contact me if it would be of benefit.
