Fun and engaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed the TMNT Mutant movie so he was very excited to get this game. The graphics are stellar and are the same unique style of the movie. He found the game easy to navigate and the cut scenes and other aspects to be very engaging as well. He’s had this on repeat since he got it and seems to be enjoying it quite a bit. I’ve also not heard any complaints or gripes like I have about other games he’s played. All in all, a winner he we love the nostalgia as parents who grew up on TMNT.

Better graphics, so much better!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this game to test. I love video games and I used to play this when I was younger. I was excited to see how much better the graphics are now. It’s always cool to see old games come back out with newer systems showing how much better they have become. The graphics were awesome and the game was just how I remember it running through the sewers fighting all the bad guys. Anyone who plays video games and like fighting weird animals in the sewer this game is the one. Plus all the people who played this prior to the new systems it’s a must to check out.

Interesting Interactive Game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted a TMNT: Mutants Unleashed download code to try out on our Nintendo Switch. We LOVE that it is similar in animation style to the movie and connected to that storyline. The game did seem to take awhile to download but it could have just been because of our wifi connection. Every character makes the game so much fun to play. We enjoyed plenty of family-friendly competition that combined being simple and a bit of a challenge all in one game. Lots of fun for TMNT fans and for just playing an interesting interactive game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who grew up in the 80s/90s, I love the nostalgia! The art is very unique and (even tho my husband hated this bit) I sorta enjoyed the new age feel of it. It kept the vibe of the old school show, but with newer lingo for the current age of kids. The controls are great and pretty cool! Sounds great, runs great and my kid loves it! No complaints here but if you’re like my husband and want it to be just like the original… you may not like it as much.

If only the turtles played as good as they looked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TMNT: Mutants Unleashed has the heart and soul of the movie, and portrays the Turtles in all their weird, fun glory. Its depiction of modern teenagers is fantastic.
In terms of gameplay, the Switch struggles to handle all of the art and assets required, and 30fps is sometimes a luxury.
The combat loop is simple, but fun. There’s just enough there to enjoy some variety without being too overwhelming. Overall gameplay is very linear, with an above average amount of rehashing old levels or backtracking, I’d say.
It’s an okay Turtles game on switch, on a more powerful console it’s probably a good turtles game, but it needs some more varied gameplay content to make it a great turtles game.
Pros: The art, the voice acting, the writing.
Cons: lots of rehashing, poor gameplay performance on hardware.

Fun family game for turtle lovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the new story line. The gameplay is fun, and easy enough for any age kid that can wield a controller. I play with my kids and they love it, mostly because I do, but that’s the best part. The load screens are plentiful, and a bit long for today’s consoles, to be honest. But that doesn’t keep me from playing it often.

Nice game, brings back memories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may not be the perfect game, but it is great fun with family and kids, and for those of us that are older, getting to plays as one of your four favorite turtles friends, is a blast from the past. Graphics are good, could've been better. Action and fun is non-stop, quite colorful game, nice addition to your collection if you are a TMNT fan. Load screens take up the majority of the game and the actual gameplay is clunky, reparative, and without any real challenge.
