not the gorilla shredder I wanted

I purchased this a few months ago to replace Fellowes C32cr. That shredder would power through whatever we threw at it. This lasted for years. Problems with "birds nesting" could not be fixed. This 325CI was recommended to replace this previous one. Current issue is that this has so much safety and sensing equipment applied to the motor that it is forever downshifting its motor. I would consider this a prissy overly sensitive overly designed product. I would much prefer the raw power of the prior version of this product. I run a small office. We need to shred 2-3 inches of paper a day. This is a much slower process than it used to be. The overload sensor can't handle a thick junk mail envelope with some stuff in it. I could do without the safety measures because no one in this office was trying to jam their fingers in the slot... Further the cd shredding does not work at all. We have gotten used to this new machine but if you need to do more than this modest amount of shredding I would suggest you get a bigger shredder with fewer bells and whistles.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Quality Construction
Cons: Sheet Capacity, Mess Reduction, Safety Features, Jam Resistance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

purchase this one on January 2011. After few weeks it started having problems. Called manufacturer to arrange the repair couple times and took more than two months till all the problems fixed. Problems encountered: touch panel problem, won't stop after switch power on. Had 420cc model before this one. It worked for almost 10 years without any problem before the control board fail.
Pros: Warranty
Cons: Service Guarantee, Quality Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice style - very modern look. Can shred multiple pages at a time quite easily. The noise is very low and much quieter than our previous office shredder. The set up instructions were a breeze.
Pros: Jam Resistance, Mess Reduction, Quality Construction, Quiet Operation, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Service Guarantee, Sheet Capacity, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Warranty
Cons: having to oil at every bag change
I would recommend this to a friend!
