[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] came packaged very well. it works the best of any shredder i have ever used and i have used alot. i worked in a office setting for many years . it takes what ever paper you put in it with out hesitation. has very nice wheels easy to roll around even on office carpet. was nice even had clear plastic bags included. i would recommend this shredder to everyone.
Pros: cuts paper into very small pieces
Cons: a little heavy

Best Shredder I've Ever Used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Fellowes Powershred LX210. It's by far the best shredder I've ever used. It will shred up to 16 sheets at one time. You don't need to worry about removing the staples or paper clips because it will take care of those as well. It shreds credit cards with a breeze. It will let you know when the bin is full. It's totally jam proof. It's a huge time saver. I can shred my bills without having to unfold them. With the micro-cut it gives me a greater sense of security. I'm extremely pleased with my shredder and there is nothing I would change about it.
Pros: shreds 16 pages at a time, shreds credit cards, no need to remove paper clips or staples, light comes on when the bin is full, jam proof
I would recommend this to a friend!

New and Improved...The Best Out there

Fellowes you have always kept improving your products but this Shredder has all the features and improvements anyone could ever ask for. First and foremost, let me start off with how many sheets and the quality of the cut. It says the sheet capacity is 16 but I have gotten to 23 without any hiccup. Not once since using this device has it jammed up or stopped due to amount of documents being fed at one time. Next, if you're an animal owner please know that this has Safe Sense so if your little curious fur baby tries to put their mouth and tongue into the feeder it will sense it and immediately stop shredding. Great feature Fellowes. Third, I absolutely love the design of this product, from the color to the aesthetics this product has in my home office. it is very spacious and will fit underneath any desk or corner of an office. I have had Fellowes shredders over the years and this one simply beats them all and they have gotten smalller but more amazing after all this time. This shredder will literally run for 20 minutes straight if you have enough documents to shred over this time. It has taken care of anything I have thrown at it. Go out and grab this if you are in need of a shredder I promise you won't be disappointed and you will wish you would have gotten this sooner. The only issue which honestly is not even bad is the size of the bin. It is 6 gallons but hey I cant complain. I would rather have something smaller which works the best and less bin rather than something with a big bin but jams up all the time. Other than that this thing is the best shredder ever...EVER

Great shredder!

At first, I wasn't sure how often I would be emptying the bin until I seen how small it shreds paper. So for I have shredded approximately a couple hundred sheets of paper and have not had to empty it yet. Have documents that are stapled? Don't worry about having to remove them because this shredder will take care of staples and paperclips no problem. Have little ones around the house? I do and love the safety features. Most shredders are kinda boring looking and you want to hide it under a desk or in a corner... but not this one. Its nice sleek stylish design will fit perfect in any office.
Pros: looks great powerful micro shreds of paper safe
Cons: none so far

Powerful shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microshredder is really powerful. It cut thru staples and an old driver's license like they were butter! I like that the cuts are so small a potential thief couldn't possibly put them back together. I'm going to use the shreddings as firestarters for campfires or just recycle them.

Never owned one before. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 50 years.worth of old documents, bills, etc. Now I can finally get rid of it. I'd never owned a shredder before and wasn't sure how complicated it would be to operate., but it's pretty simple and comes with a simple straightforward 1 page instruction card. Ten minutes after it arrived I was shredding.
I'm able to shred 10 pages at a time. (Tried doing 15 but that was too many for it.) And it shreds paper into little confetti instead of the strips, which seems much more secure. This Fellowes LX shredder also has a safety feature where it shuts off after 5 seconds if the metal rim near the opening is touched. This is a really nice feature if little kids are in the house.
It comes with several bin liners and a little bottle of oil to put on the cutter whenever you empty a full bin of shreds.
Love this shredder and I'm using it a lot. It will automatically cut off to cool down if I've been feeding it too much for too long so it's almost impossible for me to burn up the motor. I'm very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Fellowes shredder is worth every dollar you would spend on it. It's very sleek, and size appropriate for what it's capable of. Set up was very simple, plug on the cord and turn on power button located on the back of the shredder. The top of the shredder comes with indicators letting you know the functionality of the shredder. It has a run time indicator so that you don't over use it or overheat it. There is a safesense indicator which will activate if hand is close to paper entry section. There are also forward and reverse buttons which can be pressed if you need to use either function. If you open the bin or if the bin is full, there are also indicators that light up for those reasons. When the shredder us in use, the efficiency meter turns green as it's shredding and blue after shredding is inactive. The shredder is relatively quiet when in use, and shreds multiple papers with ease. The bin size is large enough to fit small rash bags in for easy disposal. I especially like the wheels on the unit, making it easy to transport the shredder from room to room without having to carry it. Overall, this is a quality shredder which I would definitely recommend.
Pros: easy to use large bin size quiet and transportab
