Phenomenal Video Monitoring System!

A Must Have for Homeowners Looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed the ring Video Doorbell 3 at our back door where people come and packages are left. I am not a handy person when it comes to making home repairs or adding things to the house, but I have to say, the installation of this video doorbell was the easiest thing I have done.
When it comes to setting up the ring Video Doorbell 3, you can choose from using the batter power (which is rechargeable) or hardwired power,connecting with your existing electrical wiring in your house. Setup takes about 10 minutes to do, and is easy to follow with step-by-step instructions -- thus making setup a breeze.
Configuration of the device was about 5 minutes, and also a breeze to do. You don't need to be tech savvy to get the Ring Video Doorbell 3 installed and ready for use.
There are so many great features that make the ring Video Doorbell 3 a must have for homeowners. Features that stand out to me are the dual-band wifi, 1080 video and two-way talk, which offers a clear picture and crisp sound. You can even see people at night time with the camera. And, you can even snapshot capture people.
If you opt to use the battery over the hardwired power, you will love having a rechargeable battery pack. I for one, am always looking in a drawer for batteries only to realize I don't have any and need to buy some, so I am loving that I just have to recharge this battery pack for continued use.
Another great feature that I absolutely love is the real time notifications, where you receive mobile notifications when anyone steps onto your property. And, you can save and share video and photos with the optional ring protect, which this doorbell has enabled. This doorbell works with Alexa, so you can see, hear and speak to people through your Alexa-enabled devices, in addition to your phone or tablet.
I have been using the ring Video Doorbell 3 for a couple weeks now and wish I had gotten it sooner. Our house is in a secluded area and set off from the main road, and I am always wondering when people are entering the drivaway or coming up the walkway to the back of our house. Since installing the ring Video Doorbell 3, I am instantly notified now when people are approaching, and can talk to them directly through the doorbell, without having to go to the door to ask them to leave, or to leave packages.
If you are a homeowner who is looking to upgrade to a video doorbell for added security, I highly recommend the rind Video Doorbell 3. I plan to buy this doorbell for family and friends who don't already own one for the holidays, so they can have added security at their front door. And, if your doorbell is ever stolen, with the theft protection plan, your Video Doorbell 3 will be replaced for free. How great is that?!

The best doorbell ever !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation for the doorbell was pretty easy, and it came with nearly everything you needed to install it. The app setup was easy, yet thorough for security, which gave me peace of mind. The doorbell appears very modern and is a nice touch to any home. I personally wish there was a way to shut on and off the doorbell. I also would like there to be a way to shut off the motion detection. I have a dog, so I get lots of notifications when she is outside. The app is easy to navigate, which makes it easy to use for any adult. I love that it has the option to have a subscription, or you can still use the doorbell in live mode.

Camera is so clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time owning a Ring Video Doorbell. The initial set up was pretty easy. Charging the battery however, did take a few hours to do so beforehand. We decided to not hardwire it and just use it all on battery power. So far the battery seems to be holding up decently, not really sure how much I will actually have to keep charging it. Hanging it was pretty easy; they give you a tiny little level that is a great help to keep it level as you are installing it. The picture on the camera is super clear and we can see a good distance past our home. There are many features that come along with the camera as well, the live view feature is what we use the most. When the doorbell detects motion it rings your phone (different modes of sounds to choose from) and you can either go to a recored view (requires a subscription, they give you a 30 day free trial)or to a live view which is free. The only reasons I give it 3 stars and not 4 is because it does lose connection here and there but that could be because of my wifi. Another reason is I feel like it is obnoxiously large and I really do not like the look of it. I feel like the design could be smaller and not so cheap looking. Overall, we are happy with being able to see who is at our front door before answering and it gives us a little peace of mind.

Great video quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been seeing these on the market for years, but haven’t gotten one until now so I don’t have much to compare it to. This is the first real smart home addition to our home we have. I have been very impressed with the Mic and video quality but also annoyed with the amount of notifications. I wish there was a way to not be notified when the phone linked to the doorbell was walking passed but it’s a small price to pay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the ring video doorbell, when I received it I was so skeptical about how I will install it but with the help of installation tools and hardware provided with the doorbell it took me only 15mins to install this device.
It works great, 1080p HD video quality allow me to clearly see who is outside my door. Motion detection feature can be adjusted based on the zones I want to specifically focus on. Live view feature in the app allows me to track or check visitors from anywhere. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with the device. Recommend it to everyone.
