I love the way my Sun-Joe tiller tills the soil. The 13.5 amp motor is really strong, and I love the 16" width provided, so it takes less time to till.
I cannot review the products on it's functionality yet since I have not used it. A few more weeks and I will be trying it out in my garden. Fingers crossed it works like I hope it does
I tilled my raised beds with this tiller. I did just redo my beds so the dirt was somewhat loose, chunks of clay loam. The tiller worked like a champ. The soil is fine ready for planting. I will say the downside is the tiller throws dirt to the side and in raised beds that means out of the bed. I put up guard rails the prevent this from happening.
This thing is amazing. I tilled an area 21x25 that had never been tilled, it was all grass and it ate it up like nobody’s business. This tiller is really powerful and will get most jobs done with ease. Assembly was real easy and quality is great.
We are in our 70's and needed something small to operate in our garden. What a great job this guy did. We plowed up existing garden with ease. Did a new one with almost the same results. Because a pool sat in that location it had years of 10,000 lbs of water sitting on the dirt. This little guy plowed right through the area. We had to water a very small section to soften it but once that was done, bang, it plowed right through. After two plowing jobs to make sure the dirt was mixed well it is ready to plant. We would suggest this product to everyone. Love the plug in and go, no pull to start, no gas either. Folds easily and stores well. Very happy
Purchased the Sun Joe 13.5 Amp Tiller for my new raised bed vegetable garden this Spring. The garden is 3 beds that are each 4x8 feet. The tiller worked great to clear off the turf below the beds. It also work great to mix separate topsoil and compost I purchased to fill the beds. The only improvement I wished I had was variable speed on the tiller. It is very powerful and gets the job done.
40 plus years ago i bought what i thought then was a good tiller/cultivator-gas&oil mix power- always had a hard time starting it- even when serviced. My son and son-in law had difficulty also., so being the independent 73 yr old that i am went shopping and found awesome 16in.. and i do mean awesome. my son in law now borrows mine. i plan on tilling my backyard and leveling it- not afraid because i know i have a tiller i can count on. side note gave the old "R" tiller away.
