Was skeptical about buying an electric tiller, but glad I did. Much easier than dealing with gas tiller and worked like a champ! My hand got cramped from having to hold the trigger and button down to keep it going, necessitating frequent rests, otherwise I would give it 5 stars. I realize this is a safety issue, but maybe a different design would make it easier on older hands? I used it in my daughter's yard initially to till up a garden spot and it churned through grass and roots without problem. The 2nd time I used it was in my garden which was all soil and worked great for that as well. I found it easier and quicker to have a 2nd person assist with holding the cord out of the way so I didn't have to keep stopping and making sure the cord didn't get caught.

This tiller really does bury itself into the garden, however one of the blades broke loose of the shaft,I sent an email inquiring about a replacement and a new set of blades showed up a few days later. I was really surprised with all the help and fast service. Thank you Sunjoe

This does an excellent job for the raised bed gardens I have, for reworking the soil and adding supplements. Lightweight and easy to move around. If you need to till hard soil I would get a gasoline tiller for the needed power and weight. But this is perfect for raised beds!
