Efficiency on Wheels

I was apprehensive as every shredder I have used in the past was bulky loud and difficult. Hello Staples! This shredder is a completely different breed and major upgrade from anything I had used before. Packaged so securely we struggled to get it out of the box. Easy set up instructions (my 11 yr old read them out to me) and a smooth assembly process. This is not a loud machine! It is small enough that it fits comfortably under my desk and get this IT WHEELS BACK OUT WHEN I NEED IT!!! It’s on wheels! Genius. I love this. It works exactly as advertised and I will take care of this to ensure it works for a long future of shredding.

Great Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 10 Sheet Micro Cut shredder has a sleek design compact and durable. It is heavy but glides with ease on wheels. This machine quickly shreds up to 10 papers at time. The size of the machine is perfect. It easy fits under desks or in small spaces in a closet. Currently it is parked under a desk. The bin capacity holds a lot since the shred size is so small so it doesn’t need to be emptied often. This shredder is beyond easy to use. Simply slide the top cover toward the back and the unit turns on. Add your paper and start shredding. When you’re done slide the top cover forward and the machine turns off. While not quiet I wouldn’t consider this shredder to be extremely loud. It definitely makes sound when it’s turning on and shredding but since it shreds quickly it is not making sound for long.

The micro-cut shredder function takes your data down to 4mm x 12mm pieces. It provides shredding capability for paper credit cards standard staples small paper clips and CDs/DVDs with a quiet operation of 65-decibel. The top load feed will shred up to 12 sheets or up to 6-feet per minute. It includes essential safety features like Auto Start/Stop Manual Reverse Overload Protection red overheat indicator and flashing green and red overload indicator with 20-minute continuous run time with a 40-minute cool down between cycles. With lockable dual casters it is easy to move or to keep unit in place. Staples 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder is a great addition to my office area in my home. Its compact size fits perfectly under my desk without taking up to much space. With the micro-cut function the shredded material are extremely small square-shaped pieces similar to confetti that are virtually impossible to read which is a great feature to keep disposed documents safe. The spacious 5-gallon bin allows for extended shredding sessions. You can shred a significant number of documents before needing to empty the bin saving time and hassle. This shredder goes beyond paper shredding. It effortlessly handles staples paper clips and even credit cards eliminating the tedious task of removing them manually. The sliding top cover prevents accidental activation keeping the shredder disengaged until I'm ready to use it. This feature provides added safety especially if you have young children around the home as I do. The auto start/stop feature automatically starts when paper enters the feeder and stops once the shredding is complete. This convenience streamlines my workflow and saves me time. This shredder operates with minimal noise comparable to a low television volume. This allows me to shred documents without disturbing others or during my toddler's nap time. Although the shredder is slightly heavy the included casters make it easy to move around as needed. Overall The Staples 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder is a compact secure and convenient solution for everyday shredding needs. Efficient and secure shredding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Staples 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder for a few weeks and I definitely like the quality of this shredder. My favorite thing about this shredder is simply that it shreds documents to a point where I can feel secure about throwing them out. Some shredders don’t do a good job at this but the crosscut shreds the paper to be unreadable and irreparable. As a check I tried to see if I could make anything out on the shredded paper and the pieces were so small I couldn’t really tell what I was looking at. I couldn’t even find a nearby matching piece after shredding two sheets. Despite it being quite tall for capacity it’s decently thin. It fits easily under my working desk and just roles in and out as I need it. The role feature was smooth and helped to get it out of the way when I wasn’t using it. Perhaps the only thing I would change about it is that I would make the extension cord a little longer so I can role it farther but I can add one of those as I need it. The box says that this has a run time of 20 minutes and a cooldown of 40 minutes but at no point did I ever come close to reaching the max 20 minute window. It’s good to at least know it exist but I don’t ever imagine shredding so many documents at one time that it takes me 20 minutes. Another good feature I liked is that the shredder area is covered by a sliding wall. To get access the shred portion the cover must slide back and it’s a nice safety feature. Finally when the shredder gets full there is a little window so that you know when to empty. Even with the window I haven’t really had any issues with capacity since there is quite a bit of space. Overall I like this shredder a lot. It’s an efficient use of space and is relatively quite for a shredder. The fact that it sheds to a very secure level and roles makes this a great product in my eyes.

Great Secure Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this shredder. I have been using it to shred and discard documents with sensitive information at the school counseling office. It shreds the documents super small. It can shred large amounts at one time without getting jammed. I’m still careful to try to not put too much in but I am amazed at how much it can take. It’s super easy to use. You don’t have to put anything together when it comes in you just have to get it out of the packaging. The best part to me though is how much it stores before you have to empty it. No constant dumping with lots of bags even if you shred a lot which I do. I also think one of the best things is that it has wheels so it’s really easy to move around. It stores nicely but it’s also not stuck in one place if you need to move it for convenience.

Great Little Shredder

The Staples 150 sheet micro-cut shredder can shred large stacks of paper at one time and not get jammed or too hot. It also comes with safety features like overload protection and auto start and stop just in case you may need them. It’s a very quiet machine to use even during the busy work day so it won’t interupt any of your coworkers while you’re using it. Overall I think this is an excellent machine and I can’t wait to see what else I can shred with it!!

Impressive shredding capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely impressed with the durability and functionality of this commercial shredder. I have needed a heavy duty paper shredder that is able to shred multiple documents at once and this one rose to the challenge. It has a sleek beautiful design and is an eye stopper in the office. It’s quiet and has a huge bin size which is amazing! We shred multiple documents a day and this has really helped us. I love that it also has no issues shredding cards. It was very easy to set up and the instructions were very clear on how to use the lubricant sheet prior to other papers. It is designed flawlessly and I’m excited for many more uses in the office with this shredder.

Excellent Shredder

My workplace has consistently struggled to find a product that will handle our shredding needs which often include packets of paper junk mail and expired credit cards. This shredder gobbled them up with no issues. We also need something that is straightforward enough for anyone to use; the easy to read icons on this shredder are a game changer allowing users to quickly identify the button or feature they need. I work with 40 people and we all used it. No one had any issues (which is rare when using a new piece of equipment). The wheels and longer cord were unexpected conveniences that made the shredder a great fit for our workplace. The large bin size meant that we didn’t need to empty it often and the small shred size is a perfect match for our confidentiality needs. This shredder is also noticeably more efficient than others we’ve had in the past which is great for worker productivity. If you’re looking for something easy to use with large capacity and high efficiency look no further.
