Efficient and secure shredding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Staples 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder for a few weeks and I definitely like the quality of this shredder. My favorite thing about this shredder is simply that it shreds documents to a point where I can feel secure about throwing them out. Some shredders don’t do a good job at this but the crosscut shreds the paper to be unreadable and irreparable. As a check I tried to see if I could make anything out on the shredded paper and the pieces were so small I couldn’t really tell what I was looking at. I couldn’t even find a nearby matching piece after shredding two sheets. Despite it being quite tall for capacity it’s decently thin. It fits easily under my working desk and just roles in and out as I need it. The role feature was smooth and helped to get it out of the way when I wasn’t using it. Perhaps the only thing I would change about it is that I would make the extension cord a little longer so I can role it farther but I can add one of those as I need it. The box says that this has a run time of 20 minutes and a cooldown of 40 minutes but at no point did I ever come close to reaching the max 20 minute window. It’s good to at least know it exist but I don’t ever imagine shredding so many documents at one time that it takes me 20 minutes. Another good feature I liked is that the shredder area is covered by a sliding wall. To get access the shred portion the cover must slide back and it’s a nice safety feature. Finally when the shredder gets full there is a little window so that you know when to empty. Even with the window I haven’t really had any issues with capacity since there is quite a bit of space. Overall I like this shredder a lot. It’s an efficient use of space and is relatively quite for a shredder. The fact that it sheds to a very secure level and roles makes this a great product in my eyes.

Great shredder for WFH and homeschool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home and homeschool my kids and this shredder exceeded my expectations. The fact that it is on wheels means I can tuck it away in a corner when not in use and pull it into my “office” (aka the kitchen table) when I need it. It shreds 10 pages at a time well and didn’t jam once! It did give me a red light when the bin was full and when it was time to let it rest. I also love that the top slides shut to keep my kids from being too interested in it.

Great Little Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have an office job and are looking for a little powerful shredder that can fit under your desk look no further! The Staples 150 sheet micro-cut shredder can shred large stacks of paper at one time and not get jammed or too hot. It also comes with safety features like overload protection and auto start and stop just in case you may need them. It’s a very quiet machine to use even during the busy work day so it won’t interupt any of your coworkers while you’re using it. Overall I think this is an excellent machine and I can’t wait to see what else I can shred with it!!

Impressive shredding capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely impressed with the durability and functionality of this commercial shredder. I have needed a heavy duty paper shredder that is able to shred multiple documents at once and this one rose to the challenge. It has a sleek beautiful design and is an eye stopper in the office. It’s quiet and has a huge bin size which is amazing! We shred multiple documents a day and this has really helped us. I love that it also has no issues shredding cards. It was very easy to set up and the instructions were very clear on how to use the lubricant sheet prior to other papers. It is designed flawlessly and I’m excited for many more uses in the office with this shredder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to get going and start. I appreciate it came with a lubricant to lube the blades. Amazing to have the 150 sheet capacity and roller wheels because it's a not an insignificant size but i was able to move it around to test where to best place it with zero effort. It has a nice minimalist look and feel. The paper bin has a nice soft pull when removing trash and the softness generally stays when pushing it back in place. Currently 4 people are using it and it stays in the corner of the office. Reasonable speed and noise.

Great Shedder for Large Amount

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shredder. It has a large capacity which conveniently shreds large amounts of papers. This shredder also shreds plastic cards which is extremely handy. I have been using this in a small office and everyone seems to be enjoying this wonderful shredder. The only issue I have had is that the upper jam panel looking pin gets stuck and needs to be manipulated to get it to turn on. Overall the shredder is extremely efficient and easy to use. It has been a game changer in our office. The amount of papers it shreds and holds has been a huge timesaver.

Excellent Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder was so easy to use straight out of the box. My workplace has consistently struggled to find a product that will handle our shredding needs which often include packets of paper junk mail and expired credit cards. This shredder gobbled them up with no issues. We also need something that is straightforward enough for anyone to use; the easy to read icons on this shredder are a game changer allowing users to quickly identify the button or feature they need. I work with 40 people and we all used it. No one had any issues (which is rare when using a new piece of equipment). The wheels and longer cord were unexpected conveniences that made the shredder a great fit for our workplace. The large bin size meant that we didn’t need to empty it often and the small shred size is a perfect match for our confidentiality needs. This shredder is also noticeably more efficient than others we’ve had in the past which is great for worker productivity. If you’re looking for something easy to use with large capacity and high efficiency look no further.

High capacity paper shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper shredded is excellent for my needs. It can shred huge stacks of paper at a time and won’t get jammed. I will suggest to keep the papers as aligned as possible though. I haven’t had any problems with jamming so far but it does say it has safety features like auto start/ stop and overloaded protection. But like I said I never encountered a problem yet. The size is perfect for under a desk at 23 inch high. It’s not too loud when shredding. It keeps all the shredded papers neatly in the bin till you’re ready to throw out. The size of the cuts are good enough for me that all the confidential information is totally secure. It even advertises that it can shred a credit card though I have not tried that. Overall this is a great item and definitely recommend.
