Small but sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder is easy on the eyes with its sleek design. It packs a powerful punch while humming quietly. I enjoyed the double blades which ensures private documents were properly disposed. I work in the medical field so following HIPAA regulations is a major part of my job. I felt at ease knowing my patient’s information was protected. I would certainly recommend this shredder to others!

It runs for up to 30 minutes continuously without overheating and can handle paperclips staples CDs and credit cards effortlessly. The design and mobility is equipped with wheels for easy mobility. The shredders compact and lightweight design making it suitable for both home and office use. It’s sleek black design adds a professional touch. The performance of this shredder produces very fine confetti-like shreds for enhanced security. Its surprisingly quiet operation for a shredder of its size. It has a large bin capacity reducing the frequency of emptying. The safety features of the shredding mechanism is covered when not in use. It has a sliding top to reveal the paper feed which also serves as a safety feature for households with children. The shredder has a very simple setup it just needs to be plugged in. It includes a lubricating sheet for maintenance. The shredder alerts users when the bin is full. Here are my thoughts for business use users of businesses can appreciate the shredder's ability to handle large volumes of sensitive documents efficiently. For home use Families can value the safety features and the ability to shred various materials without hassle. The compact design and mobility make it versatile for use in different home locations. Great Quality Compact Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently tried the Staples 10-Sheet Micro-Cut Personal Shredder and I couldn't be happier with how incredibly useful it is! This shredder is compact yet powerful plus it's quite fast I shredded a small box of documents in 5 minutes and the bin was a little over half full it effortlessly handles up to 10 sheets at a time without papers getting jammed or stuck. Love the micro-cut feature that provides more security ensuring that my sensitive documents are thoroughly destroyed. The pull-out bin is quite big and roomy considering the size of the shredder and is very easy to empty. As an added bonus the shredder is equipped with wheels making it a very convenient to move it from one room to the other and easy to clean around it the sleek design fits perfectly in my home office without taking up too much space. I'm very pleased with the quality and highly recommend this compact shredder to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient shredding solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder has been an excellent addition in the office. It looks very sleek but more importantly functions well. The protective cover that has to be moved before inserting papers seems unnecessary for our workplace but is a great feature for someone working from home with kids. Up to 20 pages truly can be shredded very efficiently. The shreds are so small that there is no worry about sensitive information. The bin is a very good capacity as well and has an added feature of letting you know when it’s full. A 30 min run time would be more than enough for most people but it you will know if it’s overheating and needs a break. We highly recommend this shredder! Does not turn on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how large the shredder is. I really liked that it rolls and is easy to move around. The bin can hold a lot and doesn't have to be emptied as often. That said the shredder would not turn on and therefore I cannot recommend it. I initially tried turning it on without reading the directions. Surely a shredder can't be that hard to figure out. It wouldn't turn on and so I had to consult the manual. It still doesn't turn on and I tried it on multiple outlets and my husband also tried to get it to turn on but no luck.

Great shredder for myvhome office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a shredder to securely destroy financial papers old ATM credit cards and junk mail. This shredder does it all it will take up to 10 pages at a time even if they have staples. It came it two pieces inside the box with instructions and was very easy to assemble . The shredder is a nice size it has some weight to it .I keep it in my office next to my copy/faxmachine. Some of the functions are It's on little casters so it's easily movable there is a sliding child safety cover an overheating alert and easy open bin .The bin hold quite a bit of shreds since they are so small .I ran it for 4 minutes continuesly with no problems or jams. The shredder is pretty quiet when turned on even while shredding. I my new shredder and highly reccomend it to securely shred all your personal paperwork .

I Did Not Know That I Needed This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My days of lugging large boxes of paper to be shredded to an offsite location are over! As a real estate broker I have a LOT of paperwork with sensitive client information. This Staples 20 sheet microcut machine solves the issue of protecting my client's privacy. The bin holds a large amount of finished shreds and takes up to 20 sheets at a time. It didn't overheat even when it was run for almost 30 minutes continuosly. Since this machine is supposed to munch CDs and credit cards I tried with both. No problems as long as a single CD or credit card is inserted at a time. The machine is fairly compact and very light and easy to move around. One more bonus: The top needs to slide back to reveal the paper feed. Sliding the top back also powers the unit on when the off/on switch is pressed. This is an excellent feature for a home office as I have two small children who might be tempted to turn on a machine and insert "things that should not be inserted"! They would not be able to figure out how to slide the top back so accidents are thankfully avoided.

Okay paper cutter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On its inaugural paper shredding run the button to reverse came loose and fell into the casing. I was unable to pull it back out without potentially taking it all apart so really limited my use of this shredder to avoid any safety issues with this butting floating around. It shredded fine but with the first time running it and having something fall off really biased my entire experience with it and the longevity of this paper shredder. It might have been a fluke or something happened during shipping as the other button seemed fine.
