I expected this to be noisy but compared to my previous one it’s quiet and frankly a welcome change. I haven’t had it long enough to say anything else. It is so much easier to empty i know i will like that. I also like the safety feature so toddlers won’t open it or put their fingers in it.

It's surprisingly quiet and able to cut through a decent amount of papers at once. It didn't cut through the 20 at a time as advertised but it does 10-15 at a time okay. The fine cut shreds are not only more secure than the old cross cuts but also allow the bin to hold much more cuttings.
