I am probably returning this shredder. It is too small to handle the amount of shredding I have to do as a downsizing senior. Also it does not take 12 sheets at a time and works very slowly.

Do not like it! Only shreds 1 sheet a time and for 10 seconds then red light comes on so you have to unplug and replug to finish 1 sheet. Will be returning!

Quiet and yet powerful. The basket holds a lot of paper. Clearing it will be a pain since the top locks onto the base. It also has too many safety switches to fail which they always do.
