Purchased new paper shredder because motor burned out in previous one we had for many years. The new shredder has a much quieter motor which we appreciate since we live in an apartment. We like that it has small wheels to move it easily since the motor is pretty heavy. One reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the basket has a small window which is hard to determine how full basket really is. Our old shredder had a mesh basket that we could see clearly at all times how much paper cuttings are in it. Anyway the new shredder works well so far and is much quieter.

LOVE my new paper shredder !!!!!!!!!!! It's quieter than my old one and sheds so much better than any I've ever had AND "love" the way mini pc's of tiny pc's of shredded paper are made and I don't have to empty my drawer as often ( yayyyy :-) So happy You have this model available for sale !

Perfect for Nesting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not have received this at a better time at 36 weeks pregnant and in full on nesting mode! One of my nesting to-do's was to go through both of our filing cabinets and re-organize all our paperwork that I had not gone through in the 7 years we have lived in our home. Having this shredder was a game changer as I went through medical records bills and other confidential papers that needed to be shredded before throwing out. I kept the shredder next to my desk in my home office and I loved how compact it was and how little space it occupied. The bin capacity was perfect; I did not have to empty it until I was all done going through both of my cabinets. The shred size was perfect it wasn't too loud and it was super simple to use. All I had to do was plug it in and slide open the lid for it to be ready to shred. I liked that I could also easily shred credit cards as well. Overall this shredder is perfect for my needs as I won't be regularly using it but using it as needed.

Its sleek design and sturdy build give it a premium feel while the safety features provide peace of mind during use. This shredder can handle up to 15 sheets at once making it very efficient for both small and larger shredding tasks. I was impressed with how quickly and smoothly it processed documents. Do not like it! Only shreds 1 sheet a time and for 10 seconds then red light comes on so you have to unplug and replug to finish 1 sheet. Will be returning!

It was not what we thought

ordered this shredder for out medical practice. It was mostly my fault when I saw 5 gallons I thought this would be much larger. This shredder is great for personal use @ home or a very small business however not for a medical practice that shreds MANY documents a day. Ended up returning for a much larger one.
