The shredder is too small what I don't like is that it has to stay closed when not in use as the blue light is too bright. I don't like that the blades start as soon as you actually slide the top open so I've taped that up. I also don't appreciate that the only option I had for a shredder at Staples is ONLY their brand. I left them with the excellent shredder I had and I'm sure someone has cleaned out the blades and now has a much better shredder in their possession.

We needed a shredder since the last one was small and shut down months ago. This one was at a great price on sale. It's larger then the one we had and shreds way more paper and is fairly quite. It lets you know when the paper tray is full and it has wells! Im enjoying it so far. It hasn't been a month. But it works great!

I had this same exact model number previously worked like a charm (I set a timer to manage over heating I looked it up by the model number and double checked. It is HALF the size capacity of the previous version and I was able to shred approximately 20 documents before it overheated and shut down for the rest of the day. I'm not pleased with the purchase but also not willing to spend extra money to get a bigger one since this was the same model.

Bought this shredder yesterday and it overheated the first time I used it. Let it cool down unplugged overnight and tried again next morning…I put 4 sheets of paper in at once and it stopped working and flashed the red light as it was overheated. Taking it back today!! Waste of time and money!!!
