This unit is a lot heavier than my old one but the wheels make it much easier to move around. Also love the easy removal of the bucket from the front. Only things I’m not happy with is the slow speed of cutting and how long it takes to cool down.

While it shreds well the speed is quite slow and if you don't feed the paper precisely down into the slot it does not grab it. Additionally the directions say you have to shred for a very short time then let it sit for 15 minutes. Our original Staples shredder was a workhorse fast and could run for an hour before needing to be "rested."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To anyone looking for an in home paper shredder this is the best one! While I don’t regularly use a shredder it comes in very handy with mail that I would prefer shredded as well as old credit cards. I no longer fear throwing stuff away and someone else getting ahold of it. This paper shredder is super efficient and smooth while shredding anything you can barely even tell it’s on. I haven’t had any jams yet and it continues to work flawlessly. I think this shredder is the perfect size for a home space it’s not too big but also not too small where you have to empty it all the time. We keep it in our laundry room and it barely takes up any room. I highly recommend this paper shredder for anyone looking for something medium sized and super efficient!
