Compared to my old shredder this one is a exponential upgrade. Handles more paper at one time cross cuts vs straight cut and has a more powerful forward and reverse motor. The noise level is considerably more muted and the compact size makes for ease of stowage under a desk or corner.

So far we are very pleased with it. We haven’t used it a whole lot but it did a great on the sheets that we shredded. Seems like a good strong unit. It doesn’t take up space a plus for us.

For the money it adequately shreds less 6-8 sheets at a time. If you want one with more capacity and speed you will need to find a different model.
