Excellent warranty for an excellent surge suppressor

You cannot beat the quality of this unit, even as it gets older. I bought my first one about 10 years ago, and just recently, it protected my equipment by blowing apart the varistors in the unit in a lighting strike. It did what it was designed to do, that is, to damage itself before damaging the equipment attached to it. I called for a warranty replacement and promptly received the latest model of this product since the older one was discontinued. Can't ask for anything better than that, for a lifetime guarantee.

I had a predecessor to this product for over 20 years, it was my first Tripp Lite Product, finally one day it decided to start blowing breakers at my house... I was not upset at all.. heck it was over 20 years old.... so I did a quick Google search on the model number, and low and behold I find it had a lifetime warranty... I called Tripp Lite thinking, there is no way they will honor a warranty after over 20 years.... they did... and less than 10 days later I had a a current model unit sitting at my doorstep at no charge. It seems to be built for the most part like the old ones quality, though mine was metal this is plastic. I put trust in the Tripp Lite name, and will do so again anytime.

Because this 'Write Your Review' link does not provide adequate space to permit a detailed response, I submitted a letter, on January 20, 2016, to Tripp Lite Headquarters concerning my purchase of MT6 Plus Surge Protector. In essence, Tripp Lite does a poor job related to control of equipment nomenclature. When Tripp Lite made design changes to the MT6 that created a totally different unit in appearance and cost, they should have modified the equipment nomenclature. Such practice is good engineering and provides customers with reliable information.

We really like our units. We control a number of items with these devices, in addition to Computer/Monitor, we control , printers, fans, and lights. audio equipment, etc.
Pros: Compact, Easy to Control Many Devices, Good Cord Length, Great Protection, Green Friendly, Warranty, Well Built / Quality, Well Labeled

I use the product on the nightstand next to my bed. It is the power source for my radio, table lamp, phone charger, electric blanket, etc. At times, there is static coming from the radio, but I have been unable to isolate its source. The product lights are bright enough to act as a substitute night light even after I attempt to cover them with small pieces of cardboard. Other than that, I am pleased with the product. It is so much more convenient to push one of its buttons to turn connections ON/OFF as opposed to having to use that function on each of them individually.
Pros: Compact, Good Cord Length, Well Built / Quality

My PC monitor has had one of these units under it for about the last 25 years. Bought my first one based on the recommendation of the person who assembled my first PC. The excellent service policy I have experienced was extraordinary for the four different models I have had during that time.

Absolutely great product to compactly protect your desktop computer and more than enough plug-ins to connect and protect your peripherals. Its appearance is pleasing to the eye and it even has two ports to charge your cell phone, tablet, camara, etc. with. As my rating of this product indicates, I am very pleased with it. However, what I am really pleased with and will make me come back to Tripp-Lite again and again is its call center representatives and how this company stands behind what it sells. I had a very old unit that I acquired from a long long time ago. When i called in to Tripp-Lite I was hopeful that I might be able to obtain the parts for a faulty toggle switch that was broken. Well, what the rep apparently was empowered to do on this unit was replace and ship, at no cost, its newer unit, providing I could send them a couple of photos of my existing unit that proved I had the unit in question. Approximately eight days later my new and greatly inproved new unit arrived, as promised.
