My miniature dachshund used to wiggle out of my reach when she was getting a bath until I repurposed one of my Sterilite laundry baskets to corral her in the bathtub. She can't escape now! The design of the basket lets water through the sides so she stays warm during her bath. Doubtful the Sterilite designer intended it for laundering dogs but it works great. (It's a really good laundry basket too!)

Great size but top edge cracks

I bought this basket about 4 months ago. It was exactly the size I was looking for. The only problem is that the plastic has cracked along the two long edges where I place my hands to carry it. It has cracked, 3 times on one side and one on the other. I do not necessarily think this is typical of Sterlite products since I have an old, round sterlite basket that I have had for several years with no problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks good, But...

The Product looks good, but less than 2 months and both baskets that I bought are cracked at the two end handles. One on each side of the "handle" ridge. This is becoming an issue with every sterilite basket that I have bought. The store I bought them at will not return them after thirty days. I am very dissapointed. I have had other sterelite baskets for years before they get cracks. Sterelite, you need to step up your qc. There is obviously a problem here. Save your money. find a different basket

Handles broke with first use

My husband and I are both over 65. We live in a second floor apartment. I purchased two of these baskets because the handles on my old baskets had.broken after almost three years of use. With the very first use of these baskets, the outer handles broke. I had already thrown away my old ones so I had to continue using these brand new baskets. The end handles broke within 3 weeks. I do not recommend these baskets. I'm not sure if I will purchase any other Sterilite products in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased about 100 to 130 of these baskets. I use them in my afterschool program. They are the best way to store all of the childrens belongings when they come in. These baskets enable us to keep their book bags, lunch boxes and coats together and at the end of the day we do not end up with lost and found items. When it's time to go, we just stack them up. This may seem like such a simple thing, but it has been a blessing. Parents like the fact that everything is together when they come.

Have a very affordable price with a great quality

These are very affordable. I have one for each room of the house plus I use them also to carry meals in the car to avoid spills, whenever I have to bring some food to a party. The are very easy to handle.

I recently built a laundry basket dresser with 3 laundry baskets. The baskets were inexpensive and perfect for this project.

I enjoy using my The 1½ Bushel Rectangular Laundry Baskets. I have several I use for laundry. They are very durable. I also like that they are stackable. I use them when organizing a room to separate items into keep, donate and toss sections. They also make it easy for me to carry my donate items to the center. I don't donate my baskets so, they are too useful to part with :) .
