ORBI system

We spent hours over the course of a month, just watching that endless circle go round and round since we gave up expensive Cable for streaming entertainment . We did a little reading and found a mesh system would be what we needed to address some coverage issues and the download speed with the one router system. My husband and I are complete tech dinosaurs but we had heard of Netgear and so that brand was our choice and specifically the ORBI with 2 satellites. We were so relieved at just how easy it was to install and get up and running on our laptop, printer and new, first ever Smart TV. The difference in download speed is amazing and has made our small amount of leisure time in front of the tv a pleasure again. Not to mention the joy of clicking a button on the computer and something actually happens. We have only had the system in place for a few weeks but what a difference! We like the size of the actual router, helps with shelf space alongside other equipment. Honestly as far as function and performance we would have given 5 stars, our only comment would be on the satellites, which we wish were smaller and perhaps had a hole in the back so they could be hung on a wall. That would be perfect.

I’m not a fan of Apps on my phone but, downloaded the App and the setup was very easy. Signal strength is strong throughout the house. Good price.

So I had a router that was more than seven years old. So you could see that I was in for a significant upgrade. Orbi just wanted I needed now that I just bought a house. The other router was great for my apartment but not for my house watch has a backyard. Upgrade if you have an older router. This one would work great if you have an upside garage.
