High quality keyboard

I've owned several Satechi keyboards over the years and give this one the same high-quality rating. For those coming from a traditional mechanical keyboard, you may find key presses "less satisfying" because there is no classic "click" sound. So, I don't think I would call this keyboard "mechanical" but the keys do have a good amount of travel. I would best describe this keyboard as the modern-day version of a mechanical keyboard. Highly recommend you give it a try...

This keyboard is great for typing. The keys are relatively quiet and have a nice feel to them, the actuation depth and pressure are ideal, and it looks good.

Fantastic keyboard absolutely the best I’ve made in years. This keyboard is heavy duty looks like stainless steel. Probably aluminum but it really works. The keys are fantastic. I love the color. Just buy one. You’ll love it.

I really like the bigger keys. Never have liked laptop type keys. The only knock I have is the backlight. It’s great but there’s no way to set it to where it stays on longer than it does. It turns off too fast. Also it’s a little noisy but I can live with it. Those 2 made me give 4 stars rather than 5.

I’m old school and was looking for a mechanical keyboard, but most wanted too much or were more than I needed. The SM3 hit the sweet spot with a good price and great performance. Keyboard lighting is different and I like the one that lights up the key typed. Great keyboard with excellent performance.

This is the second mechanical keyboard I've owned, and I have to say it is the best one hands down. I really like the low-profile keys and slim form factor. Satechi definitely got it right with this one!
