I absolutely love this keyboard.

I've been using the flat scissor Apple keyboards with my macs for years because I like the wireless functionality and I work in Protools daily so I need the extended keypad but I did always miss the old klunky mechanical keys that I used at the start of my computing career. Their absence surely made my heart grow fonder. This keyboard is the first mechanical keyboard I've seen which solves all of the layout/functional issues and gives me the best of all worlds. Satechi got it right and I'm happy that I bought it. A couple of small things that took some getting used to... the big plus button on the numbers keypad is uselessly deviating from the Mac layout so I'm constantly pressing plus when I intend to press minus. Also, the bunching up of the ctrl-opt-cmd keys on both sides of the spacebar are weird. I'm getting used to both of these issues tho... it just takes a little time to reprogram my tentacles. Other than those very small gripes, I absolutely love it!

I have been using a Corsair k95 for years in both work and personal situations. This keyboard absolutely feels amazing to type on! Will be buying a second one for the house and have recommended to workplace friends.

Great Keyboard

Have been using this keyboard with my new Mac mini and old iMac. Super easy to swap between the two screens. Good battery life. Good feel. A little better detailed instructions would be good as I had to dig a little for the features of the keyboard. Beyond that, highly recommend.

the function keys don't work and some of the lighting choices stopped working even after resetting it multiple times. I like the feel of the keys though

I really thought I would love this. Thought it would be an upgrade to my MX keys. But it is loud - like super clacky loud. I was stunned by this. Truly. And the 7 on the number key part repeats. Even with a single press, I have 2 7s about 50% of the time which is super irritating. I wanted to love this so much. But I may have to stick with MX Keys.
