[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pros: -I like the 120 Hz. It is smooth. -VRR claims to work over USB-C connection, but I have not actually noticed or verified this happening yet. (This was not in the documentation). -Very crisp. -140w charging is nice.
The cons: -It is quite reflective. 6 years ago when I was buying business 1920x1080 displays the matte finish was quite effective. When I moved to 2560x1440 displays the reflectivity of the screen surface went up a lot. This one is once again even more reflective than the last ones we were buying. If you have bright windows or lights near you it could be an issue. I have not used it long or in many locations yet so we will see how this turns out, but initially our oldest displays still feel like the best in bright environments. -For the price point I wish it was a true 8-bit display. The datasheet mentions it is a 6-bit+FRC display. -The price is exceptionally high. We just want a 1440p display with USB-C connectivity to the laptop, and some USB ports for accessories. This is a steep price jump from the P24h-30.
To be determined / informational: -I am not a huge fan of the look of the new design. Though I don't like change so that may take some time getting used to. -The screen contents being displayed look very blue compared to our previous monitors (which admittedly looked very red). I am not sure if this is a pro or a con yet. -The firmware version is deeper into the OSD, but it shows the firmware version of all components instead of just the monitor firmware. I definitely like this feature. -LADM is still quite buggy and freezes a lot for me. (not directly related to the monitor)
