[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the different features on this Philips Roku 4K TV. I had not used Roku before but the platform is easy to setup and easy to use. There are plenty of setting options which are completely customizable. Anything you can think of is there to change to your liking. Yes the HDMI ports on the back are too close together but for those wanting to still use a firestick just use the extender cord that comes with it. You may find you don’t need your firestick with this TV since the main menu is a complete home base option that is customizable depending on which apps you already use and gives the ability to discover new ones. Home also shows what’s connected into the HDMI ports and includes all the most popular channel app shortcuts and a Roku Channel. In the Channel Store it can sort by genres or other categories like Top Free Movies & TV or a section Watch with Cable which lists 87 channel options making it easy to add with one click as long as you have a cable account in order to access. Remote signal reader is on the bottom edge of the tv which makes it difficult to activate if the TV is not on the edge of the cabinet. I would like a larger remote with more button options. There is no input option you have to go to the main roku menu to select a different input. Cool feature when rewinding a show to replay a scene the closed captioning automatically comes on just for the segment I need to listen to again and then auto turns off when I get to the place I started the rewind. Another handy feature I have never seen before is Guest Mode which lets visitors log into their own subscription channels and lets you set the date of departure for auto sign out. Remote Volume control buttons are placed on the right side of the remote which is a new placement and can be awkward to get the hang of especially for left handers. However the volume is generous and much better than my other TVs. Normally I would have it set on 20 to 30 range but this audio is very clear and loud and I find I am using it between 10 to 18 range. Overall an excellent TV with built in streaming and impressive features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big electronics person and I research a lot before buying a tv. This tv was not on my radar before but after experiencing the display and features, I am sold! The image is amazing and having the Roku option is great for my streaming needs. I also like the size of the tv which is better than the 32" I am use to. This tv is a great addition to my home and the kids love playing video games on it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philip's 50 Class Roku Smart 4 K UHD LED HDTV w/HDR has a lot of pros. Very easy to set up. TV has a slim design, legs are also slim, but too small. We loved the intuitive interface. It was simple to look up movies or favorite tv shows and immediately start streaming. The picture resolution is beautiful and had sharp contrasting color with quality sound. Made gaming very fun. There were so many things tv could perform with google assistant, Google Play store, Roku, YouTube, and Netfix too.
