Let’s face it, Garmin makes the best bike computers out there. As the flagship (maybe co-flagship with the 1040) the 1050 does not disappoint. I really appreciate the vivid display which makes it so much easier to read than the 1040 screen with these old eyes. The feature set is unequalled. Definitely worth the money in my book.

Awesome Bike Computer

I will admit my previous computer was a 520, and this is miles ahead. The navigation is top notch and It quickly reroutes. The bell is very loud. Screen can be seen no matter the time of day or weather. Battery lasts seemingly forever.
This item is definitely a luxury purchase and not needed for casual riding but is a massive step up if you’re serious about riding.

New to the Garmin world

The Garmin 1050 is my first Garmin I do like it, but I will not lie. It needs to come with a video on how to operate it overall though I’m happy I bought it and once I learn more about it it’ll be awesome.

The best cycling computer yet!

I got this because my old 530 broke recently. Compared to the 830, this is way better, worth the price for the upgrade. The display is a lot bigger, brighter and for me, that needs reading glasses, this is perfect because you can make the displays larger and with a LED screen, you can see it perfectly. I like that it connects to my SRAM AXS shifters and provides shifting stats and also provides battery levels for my shifters and my Garmin power pedals. I also love the Stamina graph that is supper accurate, i can predict how much more fuel I have based on the effort I'm doing. Overall is perfect.

Made the leap haven’t looked back

I initially had an edge 530. Small and compact. But I wanted a computer that could work with sram bonus buttons and also better screen. The edge 1050 has mot disappointed!
Love the screen, additional features (has a bell!) battery life is long. Plug is usb-c. Has voice directions. Overall I love it. I’m glad I upgraded even if it is larger.
