The GOAT of bike computers!

I purchased the 1050 about 6 months ago and it is the best! Easy to set up, navigate through, scenes, controls your music with ease. Oh and it has a bell, which I thought was dumb at first but it is extremely useful.
I had the Edge 1040 and upgraded to the 1050; the upgrade process was terrible, none of my activity profiles or sensors transferred over. I had to recreate everything from scratch, it took hours. I really like Climbpro, worked great on my 1040, I can’t get it to work on free rides. Sensors keep dropping and have to be re-added. My Varia RCT 515 keeps dropping and doesn’t stay lighted. My software on all devices are up to date. I wish I never switched from the Edge 1040 that had none of these issues and always worked perfectly.
I've been using now for about a 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. The battery life the screen coloring and all the data it offers. Just an unbelievable device to add to your training program.
I have been a Garmin user for a long time. My previous Garmin 530 was getting very hard to read as I have gotten older and my eyes are not what they once were. The 1050 has allowed me to see my stats and the where I am going again. The display is bright and clear. The map is the best feature of all. I use it extensively for mountain biking new trails and ones I am not as familiar with. No more having to pull out my phone at every intersection. Trailforks integration is spectacular. Battery life has been really good as well. I used to have a Garmin 820 with touchscreen and everytime I would sweat on it it would read the sweat as a touch and change the screen or something. This 1050 does NOT do that at all. Just a great unit and so glad I forked out the extra $$ for it.

Just better. Crisp clear display with same great information.
Bought this a month ago and have looked forward to every ride. It’s great having the ability to add screens that matter to you. This is even better with the heart rate monitor.
Ive been a Wahooligan for years. I love the Element Roam for its ease of use, but when Iost my device I decide to use my friends Hammerhead Karoo. Too complicated, took too long to start up, and side app development sucked. The Edge 1050 has the ease of use and a lot more. Big screen for my old eyes. The bell is loud and piercing. Great companion on my commute and ride
