Things I didn’t know I needed

Had first generation was impressed with the features of it but was slow at times to get reading
New version is completely different and reads as fast as any
Really enjoy getting my pin reading off the box or as soon as flag is visible and not having to get another reading cause it’s already on my watch

Bought to replace my callaway and love how it syncs with my s70. Together, they have lowered my last 2 scores by 2 strokes by allowing me to choose the right club. To keep me out of trouble.

Excellent integration with Epix Pro 2 watch

Integration with my Epix Pro 2 watch and the Garmin Golf app has so far been trouble free. I really like the yardages in front of and behind a flag when obtaining the distances. The watch keeping track of it from that the point is another very useful feature. I don't have to keep shooing the distance for each subsequent shot.
The units performance is on par and perhaps just a bit faster than my highend bushnell range finder.
So far I would have to say that if you are part of the Garmin device ecosystem, then this is a worthy addition if you suffer from a golf addiction.

Terrific Addition to the Bag

Used it for the first time yesterday in conjunction with the S70 watch. Sometimes technology gets in the way. I used to shoot the flag with a rangefinder then go into the watch and move the flag to get an accurate club recommendation which requires several steps. No more! 90% of the time (nothing is perfect) the Z30 moves the flag for me on the watch and I just take my shot. Very happy with purchase.

I love that the laser updates actual yardage to the pin on my s70, but I wish it could link to the app at the same time

When paired with the Garmin watch, once you shoot the pin, it shows you the distance to the pin through the remaining of the hole. My favorite feature which definitely speeds up play by not having to reshoot for every shot. Also works great for a blind pin location!
