With 27-inch curved display, this monitor envelops you in your favorite games, making you feel part of their story. The 1440-p resolution offers impressive visuals with sharp details and lively colors, boosting the overall gaming atmosphere.
The 240Hz refresh rate ensures smooth gameplay, minimizing motion blur and providing a favorable experience in fast-paced titles or just in general. Additionally, the 1ms response time keeps actions fluid and responsive, very important for serious gamers.
Design-wise, the G55C boasts a sleek aesthetic with a slim bezel and adjustable stand, to which I opted to replace not because the stand wasn't good it actually was pretty sweet with robust adjustability. I replaced my stand with a wall mount do to my cats which love to jump on the desk. Enough said on that part we know what cats like to do. The curvature of the screen is well built, providing a more natural field of view without any distortions.
However, while the monitor excels in performance, the brightness levels could be higher for well-lit environments. Some users may also find the default settings require fine-tuning for the best color accuracy.
Overall, the Samsung Odyssey G55C is an impressive gaming monitor that combines style, performance, and immersive technology. Its a great choice for gamers looking to elevate their experience without breaking the bank.

An awesome monitor for a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor for all kinds of purposes - for work, school, gaming, etc.. Both my husband and I have noticed that the screen resolution was great (with the HDMI cable hookup). In a way, the presentation was even better than what was projecting on my husband's 4 year old gaming laptop. My family is loving the purchase for its affordability at a reasonable price, and a great resolution & seamless projection.
A design issue that we have always had with the monitor is that the blue ON light at night does not completely go away (either blinks or stays on) and I sometimes have to physically block the light with a cover for sleepless nights... but overall this has been a very minor problem for us and the pros of owning this monitor definitely outweighed this con.

This is a great choice for Gaming monitors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid gamer and I love clear visuals and high frame rates. When I played a game on this monitor it was magical. This is a top contender for one of best monitors i jave ever owned. At first I was skeptical when I got it and I fell in love instantly. This Thing is an absolute beast especially when you play FPS games. You just can beat 240Hz of pure perfection with a 1ms response time. Chef's kiss! Also every RPG or Action RPG I play on it is visually sexy because of the UHD. 10 out of 10 would recommend. When Black friday comes around this year please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this beast of a monitor. You will not be disappointed!
