Can a person be in love with their sewing machine?

I had no plans to buy a sewing machine as I was happy with my much simpler Sibger Athena. However, when I took a class at my local sewing store and finished a project on a Brother Pacesetter, I fell in love. They were having their best yearly sale following the Sew Expo and after the employee showed me ALL the features, I sat and finished my project. I knew I had to buy it when twice there appeared an error code and I was able to fix it easily! That's it, I said. She's mine! And I absolutely love it!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love my new machine except that it will not thread my needles. I must always remember to change settings to 3 rather than 1. Have broken several needles because I forget to do this.

Where have you been all of my sewing life?

I am in awe of this machine. It performs like I would imagine a machine costing many times this amount. Granted, for me, it was a bit beyond what I wanted or needed to spend but the research I did on this machine, comparing it to others in the price range along with everything else made it the only choice. And am I so glad I did. Just for the automatic thread cutting alone!! It powers through thick seams, yet I made taffeta and chiffon dresses on it and it worked like a champ. No tears, no runs in the fabric, magnificent. I have not even scratched the surface of what this machine can do and already I cannot live without it. You will not regret buying this machine.

I love this machine

I bought this machine after my "singer quantum" stopped doing buttonholes. I was told the computer board probably malfunctioned and it wasn't worth fixing. I'm very happy with this brother. I've never owned a brother before, always had Singers until now.
