saw the reviews from a couple of years ago that say you can't independently adjust exterior sound amplification from Bluetooth volume control. It even says they contacted CSR. NOT TRUE. If you look at the head band controls that are side facing or facing to the left vs to the back of your headband when wearing them. Those controls take care of the sound boosting tech and all your menu functions related to sound dampening. The buttons facing back on the thin edge of the headband controls all your Bluetooth connected controls for Bluetooth volume which can also be controlled from your Bluetooth connected device. Headband is a little tight if you have a big melon head but it also gives a great ear cup seal to lock out and protect your ears from dangerous noise levels. I've use them all the time at the range and also at work in loud mechanical rooms. I recommend them all the time to the guys I work with.

Missing a key feature for me.

I work where I have to use heating protection allot. If I were to change one thing I’d add another mode. Make the sound play through go away. I don’t want it to pick up sound around me I work near loud engines and I’m trying to not hear the sound at all.
