MATTE tape is very different than gloss

This matte tape is not going to work for me. I love brother labeling tape and use them for my organizing business. I have white print on clear tape in a smaller width that is perfect for dark surfaces. Only glossy clear tape looks clear on dark surfaces. Matte clear has a frosted white look that is not as clear as glossy tape. I'm disappointed that it looks like brother only sells white on clear (gloss) in smaller sizes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The adhesive backing was easy to take off. The label stuck nicely to whatever you stick it on. The adhesive seems like it will stay on and not fall off. This is a great size label for people who can`t see well or who cannot see far away very well as it`s a larger size label and print. If you print a lot of words on the labels, it seems like you will go through the tape very quickly.

It is has a nice glossy finish and there is a decent amount of material on the roll. The paper is not as wide as I thought it would be. The strips are somewhat limiting in possible customized sizing. I would prefer the strips to be slightly bigger to fit more on the label. However, there are still a decent amount of options even with at the current size.

Very easy to input the cassette into the P-Touch Label Maker. The white print on matte clear does not have that overwhelming look that other non-matte tapes may have. The adhesion sticks very well on both indoor and outdoor items. Overall, great product.
