Beautiful addition to our kitchen!

The quality of this butcher board is great, and the maintenance is easy especially with the boos brothers maintenance kit! We love ours!

Amazing Quality

I didn't realize exactly how big it was going to be, but the bigger the better. I use this everyday. The quality is top notch, it's a beautiful american black walnut cutting board. It's not light either, but not extremely heavy. It's perfect. It also come with a little kit to help keep the quality the best it can be. Amazing. I have no use for my other cutting board anymore. This one is way bigger and better than I could have ever expected. I love using this for any and all cutting I have to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have a ton of counter space in my house, and that tends to hinder the big holiday cooking or even just a fun meal. Everything I do in my kitchen, I have to keep that space issue in my mind. When I saw this, the only thing I could think of is "Where in the world could I even put this?" Then, it dawned on me! I could easily store this on my stove. That way it would get maximum use... cutting and/or serving board when in use, and extra counter space/stove protector when not in use! So, I took the leap of faith and got it. To say I am blown away is an understatement. This things is BEAUTIFUL and it is HEAVY! I am confident that it is 100% black walnut, and I absolutely love that! My first use, I was terrified to use it... it's just so pretty and so nicely made. First use, I made tacos for dinner. I used the board to cut onion, tomato, and lettuce. The board survived well and looked amazing while doing it! I served all of the toppings on the board and spent entirely too long staring at how pretty it was haha! When finished I wiped it down and left it on my stove. It looks great and keeps my burners protected. It's easy to move around, thanks to the recessed handles that ensure a good and comfortable grip. Ladies with longer fingernails, you're good! I have medium length nails and had no issues moving this around. Since taco night, I have used it a good 10-15 more times, and I can't find a single thing about this board to complain about.

It comes with stuff you need to clean it and take care of it so thats a plus. It's a bit heavy so I just keep it on my counter instead of putting it up like I did my previous ones.

Beautiful and Great Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This black walnut cutting board is absolutely beautiful and arrived in perfect shape with no blemishes or defects. Before using it, I followed the provided instructions, and treated with the Boos mystery oil followed by board cream which was a very easy process. After the treatment I was ready for my first use. The first thing I noticed is that the board is large enough to prep multiple veggies at the same time. I was able to dice 3 onions and process multiple bell peppers without running out of room. I even had my garbage bowl on the upper right corner and it never encroached on my space. The board is heavy but the notches on the side of the board make it super easy to handle when you need to flip the board. I segregated my fruits from savory items by giving them each their own side of the board (no one likes their strawberries with a hint of garlic!) and this was a very easy process.
The only thing I will say is that you should consider how large your kitchen sink is. My sink is quite small so washing my board is a multiple step process (the board won't fit in the sink, even a little bit). This isn't a complaint about the board at all, more of a practical problem that I will have to deal with.
Overall, I can see this being in use in my kitchen for decades if taken care of properly. It will also make my knives last longer so that is another plus!

The craftsmanship is beyond good, it’s great. Plus it is just a beautiful piece of wood. I can’t wait to show it off!

Charcuterie anyone?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this gorgeous black walnut cutting board to serve a display of charcuterie at a party my husband and I recently had and it was a huge hit. This boo block board is an impressive size and weight. We piled on a variety of meats, cheeses, nuts, spicy jams and jellies as well as olives and it was a truly beautiful display. I can't wait to do this again for the next party. Also, I absolutely LOVE the size of this board for food prep. I can prep an entire stew worth of vegetables on this one board and still have room for slicing bread. I can also carve a turkey because the board will accommodate large food items. I would definitely recommend having one of these in your home on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was left breathless when i got my package and i saw this huge baby...The butcher board is very well crafted...made from the very best wood..I also got a kit to maintain the wood because i want it to last me a long time...it is quite heavy though...I wish it was a little less...but then again it is solid wood...over all i love it
