Great durable cutting board!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This board is fantastic. Made solid wood, it is high quality and very heavy. If you are used to using plastic board, this may not be for you due to its weight. Otherwise, the heft offers great durability. Been using it for days and it's been taking a lot of abuse but still looks good. Like all wood boards, definitely learn to take care of it using mineral oil and avoid using too much soap to wash it. Let it dry completely before storing and your board will stay in tip top shape.

Nice heavy cutting board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very thick and heavy wood cutting board. It will be great for using when I need to hand cut items, There however is a lot of maintenance needed to keep the board in pristine condition. I do like that by doing the maintenance the board is coated and is much more hygienic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First impressions are how beautiful this cutting board is. The maple wood was gorgeous and the board looked great on our counter. In my opinion, this board is the best one I have used before. The durability of the cutting board is instantly noticed. I believe it is the dedication to quality that gives service to the company’s impressive reputation. This board sit solid on our countertop and did not shift or need to be braced while cutting.

Best Cutting Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the John Boos & Co. - R01 Maple Cutting Board & I Love it. This board is very well made & came with all the products I need to keep it in great condition. This is a great addition to my Kitchen & wont dull my knives after using it. I keep mine on my counter all the time, no more digging thru my cupboards for a cutting board. This is a great board for at home or even restaurants & I highly recommend it. I just Love mine & will get many years of use with it.

It's a good weight so that the board doesn't slip around when in use!
Easy to clean, easy to use without a lot of knife nicks getting in the board!
It's a great board and I definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to see how thick this cutting board was when it arrived. It's nice how it came with a kit for it's maintenance too. Usually I use a food grade mineral oil on my wood cutting boards. The oil is labeled "mystery oil" and the cream is to help seal the wood surface. When you get the cuts in your board, it runs the chance of harboring bacteria you can't clean away. I use the wood boards for only fruit and veggies. I don't want the chance of meat juices seeping in.

This cutting board is very well made and it is very easy to cut and very easy to clean up.didnt see any cutting scratches it is wonderful I would recommend this product to anyone.
