Beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so beautiful. It comes very dry and you'll need to add moisture immediately and maybe even a couple times. The dark color is gorgeous and I like the groove for excess juices.

Rough at first!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this cutting board, and immediately I rubbed my hands over it to feel it and was super disappointed. I expected smooth and buttery right out of the box, but it was downright rough, especially on the sides - I attached some photos to try and show the roughness. This is my first brand new Boos board, so I don't know if that's normal for their products. Anyway, I ended up spending a couple hours re-sanding it from 30 grit up to 220, putting two coats of Danish oil, and a coat of wax on it, and now it's smooth and buttery. Overall, it's still well made and put together nicely, but it seems like they skimped on that last mile.

Super heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cutting board is beautiful. However its very heavy and that one huge drawback. Though it also helps in keeping the board in place and it doesn't slide while chopping. But it is a drawback as well when we have to wash the board. However, the quality is very good and the groove, keeps the juices from flowing out on the counter.

Beautiful cutting board

I love that it is reversible so you can use the completely flat side or use the side with the juice groove; and in turn the juice groove is so handy to have when cutting fruit or even meat to contain the extra juices for easy clean up.

Great for cutting meat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite cutting board by far. It is thick, heavy, and can hold up to deep cuts. I originally got it because it looked great and I wanted to use the one side as a charcuterie boars. This is now my go to for cutting meat. The juice groove is the first I have ever seen that is this deep. It actually holds the juices instead of them spilling everywhere. I can pull an entire roast from my oven or crock pot and not worry about juices spilling. It also has deep handles on the side so you can actually carry this safely. It's also just great looking. I store it on the island because it's display worthy.
