[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went from a.26c size to a 23.6c. I regret the downsize. The layout of the shelves and the drawers seems to waste space. Cannot fit nearly as much in. At first I had food freezing in the refrigerator part. I think that is resolved now, the air vent may have had food in front of it. The upper shelf in freezer seems to waste available space. Holds a lot less food.
The foot print takes about the same space as a larger one so wish I would have gone with larger.

I’m glad to hear the issue with items freezing in the refrigerator compartment seems to be improving after checking the air vent. That’s a good catch, and airflow obstruction can absolutely impact temperature consistency.

Regarding the freezer, your point about the upper shelf is valid feedback. Design choices like fixed shelving or compartment height can sometimes limit how flexibly space is used, even if the total capacity is optimized on paper. I can understand how that would make it feel like you’re getting less usable storage than expected.

Ice/water front dispenser needs clearer direction!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tight built-in refrigerator nook that requires a counter depth fridge. This Frigidaire is one of the few that fit the bill. Surprisingly, although not a bigger cabinet, it has way more inside room than our last refrigerator (Kitchen Aid). Once we brought it up to temp, we expected the ice maker to start working (per the enclosed paperwork). After 24 hours and much research on line, we found that ice maker was set to off. The front panel has no settings switch and the ice maker itself has no on/off switch so we spent a long time on line trying to diagnose how to turn it on. We found that to access different settings, a combination of buttons or button hold times are required to get to various settings. Nothing we found out was even mentioned in the owners manual (hard copy summary or lengthy on-line version). This is important information that should be called out as part of general instructions/troubleshooting. I’m certain individuals less internet savvy would have called for service. Really unacceptable.

However, the workmanship is lacking. One of the drawers is broken from day one, waiting to have it repaired!
