Garbage out of the Box

This is garbage out of the box. Doesn’t work.
Yes I paired it, yes I wet the band, yes I took the battery out and tried a hard reset. It works for about two minutes after the hard reset and then stopped registering HR and turned off. A disappointment from Garmin. I own other Garmin products and have always been happy but this seems like an afterthought that was rushed to market .

Great Performance and Battery Life

I have used this for several rides, and I am really happy with its performance. One thing that makes me even happier is that it turns off when I’m not wearing it, which helps save battery life.

I bought this to replace my older Garmin HRM and it has worked great. I use it on all of my cycling rides and it doesn't disappoint. Great HRM and seamlessly connects to all of my other Garmin products. Would highly recommend this HRM.

Totally unreliable. Much worse than my HRM Dual that fell apart after only a few years of use. HR reading gets stuck all the time, either dropping to some ridiculous low value or spiking to some absurd high value -- for several minutes at a time -- despite constant power output and perceived effort.

Pairing is not ok

The pairing setup is not clear at all. I have a Venu 3 and I must only chose open connection. Ok. Then should i connect the HRM to the Connect app ? Just too confusing.

I bought this a few months ago and still can't see where my heart rate data is. The heart rate on connect app doesnt register. After a few minutes there is no green light blinking and I have to turn it back on. I followed the set up and it says connected on connect app and forerunner 245 but I have no heart rate data after my workouts.
