I really enjoy this product, particularly for its ease of use and connectivity. I have had no problem connecting it to my Garmin watch, bike computer, and Zwift. It's great to be able to use this instead of my watch while riding; it's much more comfortable than riding with the watch. The strap is easily detachable from the unit for washing.

Great! Broke my cadence lock

I was suffering from cadence lock and switching to an independent heart rate monitor fixed that for my tracking. Wearing it took a little getting used too, I still have to remember to put it on. But its been easy to adap mt to part of my running routine.

Not enough feedback
on February 9, 2026

As far as I can tell, this HR monitor becomes the live "HR" display during an activity. However, it does not have its own app that will show you detailed HR monitoring feedback live during an activitiy unlike other watch brands and apps (e.g., Polar). More advanced monitors appear to have more detail recorded during an activity but these too don't appear to be available until after the activity is completed. Did I miss something in the Manual??

Buckle Needs Improvement

The heart rate monitor is great. I would give it 5 stars if the buckle on the strap didn't rub my skin raw no matter where I place the buckle. I'm still using it just not as frequent as I would like. It's unfortunate but it is what it is.

Heart Rate Spikes

The monitor gives several incorrectly high readings for short periods of time during an activity. The attached graph was recorded while riding an indoor bicycle trainer at constant resistance and cadence. I always wet the strap before I put it on and it is correct for a while. The errors always occur after I am warmed up and sweating. It was connected to a fenix 6 watch.

Love the data and accuracy of this strap. Pair it with one of the upper tier watch models and you'll have a much better picture of your training. You can use it without a watch if you feel like taking a break from your gear and access it after an activity which is a nice feature. Battery is rechargeable but doesn't last as long as previous models which lasted for what seems like years.

Very erratic
on February 11, 2026

First couple of months the hrm 200 was fine. Now the readings are very erratic. During gym workouts it fluctuates from 147 to 64 heart beat, and that's with me just standing still looking at my fenix 8. Sometimes it will just seem like its stuck at a very high heart beat without me doing any activities. I've tried unpairing, new batteries, tightening the chest strap but nothing seems to work.
