I purchased this product to protect my tv, dvd, and sound system. The product has not been put to the test nor do I hope that it does, but the products warranty gives me a good feeling. The only issue with the product was the switch, like many have stated when I read the reviews, is flimsy and easy to bump on and off if not careful. The bellking (misspell due to flagging) strip, which the product replaced, had a very sturdy on/off switch but I don't believe the protection was there. Outlets are not an issue and I have plenty of space left after plugging in 4-5 electronics.

I got 3 new surge protector to replace old ones. I didn't realize they wore out until the one I had just bought 10 months ago ( for new cable modem/router) when my internet stopped working. I plugged direct into outlet and it worked. I bought the TrippLite brand this time because of reviews. I received and everything works perfectly. Hoping these last longer than 10 months, but what do I have to loose? They are warranted.

Long enough heavy duty cord. But can't really comment on performance until there's a surge. For now it's a power strip. It is a little compact and when all outlets are in use it's a tight fit. And as someone else commented the "on/off" toggle switch is a tad loose and wouldn't take much to toggle off.
