[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This tape was so cool. I mean it served its purpose in making labels but then I said let me do some pictures. It was great. That made me love it because I was creating art like stickers. The contrast and highlighting was amazing. I really enjoyed using this black tape outside of the box. All sorts of pictures and graphics stuck on the back of my iPad now.

an excellent matte tape

This tape is a nice change of pace from the traditional "black text, white background" label. The black matte tape is excellent for labels that you`d like to blend in to a darker object, for creating "spooky" gift labels, or for everything in between. The tape feels sturdy and high quality, so I am not concerned about its ability to stand the test of time.

This is my favorite for labeling spices and things in the kitchen matte is my favorite. It makes my spice rack look very modern i would not however use it for anything business as i do not think it is professional i tried labeling folders for work and my supervisor asked not to use those labels. I think those are best for things around the house
