Perfect for big jobs, not for daily tasks

You are not going to take it out to cut an onion, but if you are slicing a watermelon or trimming a whole brisket, you will be happy you have the space. Because it is so big, it is fairly heavy so you know it will stay in place while you are using it. It is a little difficult to clean, especially if you have a double tub sink. If you have a farmhouse sink you should have no problem. Overall, it is not a board I will pull out for everyday tasks, but I am happy I have it for the times I need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You will be surprised with its size and quality, it is perfect for chopping anything as hard as bones, it is heavy and sturdy in your hand, that is why it is different from other cutting boards. , price always goes hand in hand with quality, so have at least one in your kitchen, easy to clean after u use , I love it

I love how the maple wood looks and how it’s an actually reversible cutting board and you can use both both sides of this board , and then clean ! Clean it using the cleanser it comes with and you can also buy on their website the John Boos maple wood oil cleanser 👍this oil is actually quality and top notch wood cutting board cleaner ! Best I’ve ever used since I received this John Boos Wood End Grain Cutting Board my family and I have been using it literally for everything it’s the best thing on larger counter tops like we have. They also have different sizes I just opted for a rather larger size and I can use it for literally all and any type of big or small kitchen prep work it very versatile with the grips on the sides of the board, this cutting board is a very quality maple wood, it can be used for either small or large get togethers this has been used by my family already for the grill ; I know my family and I will be using this a lot this summer for barbecue and cookout! as this cutting board is an essential tool for family! Highly recommend you go look 👀 at their website! If your a family or four or more this exact cutting boat is everything you’ll need and more !

Incredible quality cutting board!

The craftsmanship is evident in the smooth finish and sturdy construction. The board has a substantial weight, which helps it stay securely in place during use, adding to its overall durability. Additionally, it comes with a packet of “mystery oil”, a thoughtful inclusion to keep the cutting board in tip-top shape. The included packet is not resealable so you will need to ensure you purchase something to maintain and care for the surface of the cutting board. This cutting board is great, but I was not expecting it to weight almost 30lbs! I had initially planned for this to be used in the kitchen but I will be building a prep table for my grill that will include this as a prep and cutting surface. Overall, the John Boos cutting board is an exceptional addition to any kitchen.

High quality cutting block!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let me say, i obviously read the size wrong, cause I was SHOCKED to see how big this thing is. But it is very high quality wood and looks very nice! I honestly have a little trouble washing it due to its size but otherwise it’s a great cutting board. It’s gets the big jobs done, but not practical for everyday tasks or someone with a small house and no storage.

I love John Boos cutting board it's such a famous brand.
The board is so big and heavy you can use it for too many things.
Because it's too big and heavy for me so I'm not gonna use it for cutting, I'm going to use it as a serving wood tray.
