Functionality, Beauty, and Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are few kitchen products that I would describe as a thing of beauty and a kitchen essential but, my Boos Block maple cutting board is definitely one. I have owned many cutting boards over the years, plastic and woods ones that discolor, develop knife marks, slide around when using them and I hide when not in use. The glass cutting boards don’t discolor but dull knives. The Boos Block board is wonderful. To start it’s a great size for almost anything I’m chopping. It has enough weight, so it does not slide around and when you are pounding out some meat on it, it absorbs the impact. I like the two groves on the sides so it can easily be lifted and or flipped to use the other side. Before my first use, I have been following the instructions on sealing the wood with the Boos Block wax and oil and have found that nothing to date, has left a stain on the surface of the board. A little soap and water and it look like new again. The maple is soft enough so its gentle on knife blades but hard enough that I have yet to damage the surface from cutting on it. The quality of the maple and manufacturing of the board is top notch. I leave my Boos Block out on the counter when not in use as an accent in the kitchen. It’s adds a little flare to the room like you see in those design shows and food magazines. This will be the last cutting board I will ever need.

Butcher block wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This real slab of butcher block will serve you for generations! It has a beautiful coloring especially after treated with the mystery oil and butcher block cream. Routed handles on both sides makes it a breeze to move around the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this product for several weeks now and I really like it. The size is great, it allows me to easy chop things for my large family. I also love the look of the cutting board. It is very large so storing it would be a challenge with my limited cabinet space but I don’t mind leaving it out all the time because it looks beautiful on my counters. The cutting board is easy to keep clean and so far has no signs of wear. I really like this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] wow just wow! I have always wanted a professional grade cutting board and I am extremely happy and satisfied with this one. The wood is gorgeous and easy to maintain. Highly recommend to use the oil before use and apply the wax as well. No stains, easy clean up, no knife marks on the board at all. Truly is the best one I have ever tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this board will last your life time.... its so thick, even if it warps, you can plane it or sand it flat many many times.... its side grain, not end grain, so will be hard on your knives...
great quality maple, and dead flat out of the box... comes with some oil, keep it oiled, it will last!

Solid cutting block

The board is quite heavy so won’t move around when you are using it. It is very versatile and you can use both sides.
I use it as an everyday cutting board or as a serving board for entertaining for my charcuterie platter. I have received many complements on it.
