Something most people don't comment on is the more snappy experience vs the regular 8. The much brighter and higher quality AMOLED. Louder speaker. Improved mic and for me I love my watch as big as possible and appreciate the over 1mm thicker watch than the regular 8. I used to be a huge MIP fan, but you get up to 29 days in smartwatch mode on this thing, so why go MIP if you aren't doing over 2 week adventures or 1 week extreme ventures with GPS always running. Bonus is the Satellite and LTE connectivity which may come in use this summer if I end up going on a 1 week kayak trip on Lake Superior. Get an ultra fit band as well and you can't even feel this on your wrist! Only knock is the value on this watch. For $2.2k all in, it is VERY expensive compared to an Apple Watch Ultra 3, which you get free satellite connectivity, but of course it can't compare when it comes to physical fitness features and metrics out of the box.
