Love the upgrade....but...

Seems like most things work well, but I have trouble keeping music connected during workouts. I also feel like the LTE feeture could be better. It doesnt seem to instantly switch to LTE when my phone is not around.

Had it a month. Short time to learn new configurations from my 7x. Clearer faces, better all around functionality, little tweaks make recorded workouts smoother

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro

I bought this a month ago to replace my Enduro 2. All the new features were just what I was looking for with integrated Satellite Coms and SOS feature. I was happy to be able to ditch the in reach but the battery life wasn’t there. I’m going to swap it out for the Fenix 8 Solar.

Great when it does what is supposed to do

I received a Fenix Pro 8 51MM as an early Christmas present. From day I was unable to use the watch as a stand alone tracking device and leave my phone at home while running. After several searches and turning on and off settings wiping and restarting the watch etc I called Garmin for a fix which after an hour on the phone and a 2 data logs sent to Garmin I have a 1300 watch that does not perform as advertised. I have been waiting for 2 weeks to hear back from Garmin whether to replace the watch or not. So Garmin phone support was awesome they just couldn’t fix the problem
Very frustrating I will say the bio tracking this thing does is amazing but my problems are with the LTE and inReach not working

Awesome watch, incredible upgrade from Apple

I bought this watch for the limited Inreach capability, switching from an Apple Watch. Incredible customizable, premium feeling, and the features are built for an active person/adventure. As someone that doesn’t use a lot of the cutesie features from Apple, this was an upgrade by a wide margin. Also, getting to use it at night and during the day instead of picking one to charge daily was huge - 2 weeks out of the box and it’s still going strong (didn’t have a full charge, either).

Fantastic Upgrade!

Upgraded from a Fenix 5X two weeks ago and couldn't be happier! Still same great battery life with added touch screen capabilities. I love being able to download playlists straight to the watch for music on the go without having to take my phone.
