The Ultimate Adventure and Lifestyle Watch

As an enthusiast of wildlife photography, adventure and fitness, I rely on gear that's tough and dependable and that is sleek enough in design to wear to the office or for a night on the town. The Fenix 8 exceeded every expectation.
Remote hikes or walks around the block, the GPS locks on quickly and remains accurate, with the ability to tag locations or track routes. The display is bright enough to read in the harshest light and the case holds up to dust, water and the inevitable knocks that happen in the field.
Battery life is phenomenal, I hardly have to consider charging anymore, I easily get 8-10 days between charges.
I really appreciate the sleep tracking, stress, elevation, and pulse ox readouts so that I can plan my recovery days around my busy schedule. The seamless sync with Garmin Connect on my phone without distractions is exactly what I want when my focus is on capturing a great shot or working out.
Garmin has definitely built more than a watch, it's a dependable field companion that keeps up with whatever the adventure is. The Fenix 8 is an investment in reliability, precision and peace of mind.

This watch is so great once I learned how to use it! It’s super cool looking as well. I got tons of compliments on it for pickle Ball and running and weight training and basically anything you do.!!!

Amazing features and durable. The display is much brighter and more crisp than the solar but battery life is noticeably worse than the solar.

I would give it five stars, but the fact that it doesn’t have LTE to connect to cell phone service without having to have your phone on you is kind of a bummer considering the price point. But I love the watch and I use it for marathon training. I am also a flight attendant, and I’ve noticed that the altitude on the watch is also kind of off… So that is also where my four stars come in. Great watch over all. I would never go back to Apple.

I bought this fenix 8 to replace my fenix 5 that I have had for a few years. Wow! it so intuitive as to what I want. Really like the smaller face less bulky. The Golf app is so much better and easier to use, once I figured it out.

So many features!

To be fair, I don't think I have given this watch enough time to fully appreciate what it can do. With that being said, I haven't found anything that I want it to do that it can't. It acts as my heart rate monitor connected to my e-bike, records my dirt bike rides, and tracks each lap I do on my snowboard. I have a small wrist and it fits great. I play rough and this watch is durable. I have even used the flashlight a few times and it is bright.

Features that I didn't think I'd use, I do all of the time. I rarely look at my garmin connect app on my phone anymore.
It is expensive, but I wanted to treat myself. This is the 4th garmin product I've had in 20 years-I may not use all of the apps to the full extent, but I don't do that on my phone either. I am enjoying learning how to use it, and happy with new discoveries each day
