Love this watch

Not only does this watch look nice, it does way more than I expected. With completely customizable screens and feature options like widget add-ons, I can pretty much do anything I need.

Great updates to the Fenix.

This is my third Fenix. The updates on the 8 are great. It was easy to upload music through the app. GPS has been very accurate. The battery lasts longer than my 6. I like all the health data that it gives. Lots of sports options available.

Awesome watch!

Got this as a gift. A huge upgrade from the vevofit 3 I had for like 7 years. I just wish she for me the bigger size so I can Read the display easier and battery would last longer. This lasts 10 days. Which is good, but not like the 30 says on larger models. The screen is so sharp and colorful. But it is a nice regular watch size and I love it.

Great for my fitness goals

I really love all the bells and whistles this comes with. Sleep scores, workout activities, pulse ox, fitness reminders, connectivity to phone, wifi, etc. Morning summary is great. In my mind better than an apple watch if you want deeper insights. i’m getting into hiking so I like the mapping options.
Cons: it is a bit bulky for sleeping with. if you have all the heart rate tracking features on and phone connectivity, it does being the battery to 7 days.
I like it so far.

Love the size and power

I traded in my Apple Watch Ultra for the Fenix. I love the small size that packs a punch. It has a 8 day battery compared to the Apple Watch that needed charging after one workout. I went through 4days of physical activity and it tracked my steps separately from my workouts which I thought was impressive. I was able to see my progress seperate than daily activities. I really like the feature of seperation. Being a physically active person my fitness level differs from my daily level. Thank you for a great watch!
My workout routine is a Garmin program and I wish I didn’t have to select the workout instead of it starting automatically that’s my only feedback. Can you make a training quick start option? Usually it starts unless Im missing a step.
Overall great improvement from the Fenix 6 to the 8 series. It has more functionality as a smart watch which is what I wanted because I was still wearing my apple watch for where the Garmin laps in function as a smartwatch , but has more health features than Apple. GPS functionality is impressive and the watch has better signal than any watch I’ve had so far.

Great watch

Watch was great, but I returned it. Couldn't justify the price tag for what it offered compared to my old watch from another competitor that also worked seamlessly with their phones. Also, it was too bulky despite me buying the smallest one.

Great watch. With a few exceptions

I am 3 weeks into the Garmin experience after dropping my 4 year old Apple watch in a lake. The watch is beautiful. The screen and buttons seem to be extremely high quality. I love how customizable the main screen and running data screens are. Battery life without always on display is not quite what I was expecting i get about 6 days before a charge is needed always on got about 3 days. Navigating the watch can be difficult and takes some getting use too, did not find learning it to be a very user friendly experience. Not sure I am taking 100% advantage of all its features. Not happy at all with its optical HR monitor. Mine never ramps up. Seems to keep it well in day to day and lower intensity exercise but once I kick into gear and push my HR (where I know it should be spiking) the monitor tells a different story. I verified this with a Garmin HR strap. Tried different wrist straps with no success. I understand they have limitation's however my old watch didn't have this problem. Frustrated to have to move to a chest strap to get reliable HR data after such a high price point.
