I upgraded from a Forerunner 35 to the Venu 4, and I am very happy with my purchase. The battery lasts more than ten days between charges, the features tracked by the watch are highly customizable, and it tracks health parameters of interest to me. I especially like that it works well in the cold and the rain when I am running or coaching middle school athletes. My Forerunner 35 lasted eight years in all kinds of weather and activities. I am hoping that the Venu 4 will be similarly indestructible.
I am so happy I bought this especially so I could follow my blood sugar numbers from my Dexcom. It works so well and I am very happy I bought this. I think it's easy to read but my biggest problem is getting out of a screen. All in all I love my Garmin watch.
After owning different Galaxy watches for close to 10 years, I was a little nervous about switching to a new brand. The increase in battery life is what ultimately made me decide to switch, however, the advanced health insights are keeping me here.
It’s great but some minor issues. 1) I got a few dead pixels a few days into using it. It’s not enough to send back but slightly annoying that a few days into it and having pixels die. 2) In order to have the screen go fully dark at night, you have to download a special watch face.
Other than those two issues, I’m fairly happy. Looks great, bezels could be thinner, battery life is good, tracking is good, features are good. I upgraded from a FR265 and happy I did.
I purchased the Venu 4 to replace my Fenix E. The E was heavy and constantly rotated on my smallish wrists. The Venu stays put and does everything I need it to do. I’m a cyclist and use a Garmin Edge to record my rides. The Venu provides the heart rate making for a nice eco system. The Venu provides my sleep metrics so that I can keep track of my body battery. Not only that it is a handsome watch.
