The switch from apple was so worth it.

I bought this watch about 3 weeks ago after lots of research and wanting to switch from an Apple watch to track my runs, cycling and xc skiing I do. But I didnt want to loose some of the features like notifications and calling with phone nearby that the apple watch offered. But the biggest reason I wanted to switch was because of the battery life. I was tired of charging my apple watch each night, or at various times throughout the day so I would have charge for workouts and sleep. The Garmin Venu was the answer I was looking for!
I’m older and wanted a sports watch that actually looks like a regular watch instead of a bulky fitness tracker. The Garmin Venu 4’s stainless steel design caught my eye right away. I was hesitant to buy it after seeing many complaints on Garmin forums about restarts when playing music on Bluetooth headphones during runs. When it arrived, I loaded my music, paired my headphones, and have now used the watch every day for 3 weeks (strength training, walking, and intervals). I’m happy to report I’ve had zero issues with restarts or crashes. I really like how it looks on my wrist and the bright AMOLED screen is much easier for me to read. It tracks my workouts well and feels comfortable all day. Battery life has been solid too. Overall, it’s exactly what I was hoping for.
I traded my Apple Watch for the Garmin Venu 4 and first thoughts was how amazing the battery lasts. I’ve had it for a month and only charged it twice! I have an irregular sleep pattern due to working nights and it tracks every sleep I make. So many features are more accurate and function better than the Apple Watch ever could. I love it
Love the features though wish we could edit the name on some gym exercises or add the ones that are missing. Also if you could create your own saved or favorite exercises to repeat and use daily or whenever you want. This would so helpful to do on a daily basis
I got the Venu 4 to upgrade from a Vivoactive that I had for a long time. I wanted to have a watch that did all my previous Garmin did with the addition of ECG. The Venu does that along with a number of other functions all available on a much more readable face. So far I'm quite impressed with this watch.
Couldn’t be more happy with this! I switched over from Apple Watch because the battery life was better with Garmin only to come to find out it’s all around better. Couldn’t be happier with the switch. It did take some getting used to and figuring out navigate around but that with anything new. Still learning all the amazing features!
