Love my Venu 4!
on April 27, 2026

I purchased the Venu 4 to replace my Fenix E. The E was heavy and constantly rotated on my smallish wrists. The Venu stays put and does everything I need it to do. I’m a cyclist and use a Garmin Edge to record my rides. The Venu provides the heart rate making for a nice eco system. The Venu provides my sleep metrics so that I can keep track of my body battery. Not only that it is a handsome watch.

battery life

I bought this about like 3 months ago I use it for working out going out for runs biking but I've had a Garmin 4Runner 165 and that would last me about 14 days to like 10 days this one's lasting me anywhere from 5 days to 6 days at the most and it says it's supposed to last about 2 weeks as well so I don't like that I have to be charging it there sometimes where I have to charge it every 3 days 4 days aside from that I like all the features including the flashlight it is a better upgrade and it's good for my running but just don't like that it dies super quick that's the only issue I have with it

Big frustration
on April 22, 2026

Big frustration, the watch with the premium price tag has so many bugs...
I set up English as watch interface. Two days later the interface switched itself in German. I had to make the factory reset and to start over watch setup in English. Anyway, I see some words in other language (see the attached photo), Google detects it as Romanian.
I downloaded the Manual from Garmin web-site... there are so many discrepancies with actual watch interface...
The flashlight turns on spontaneously several times during the day... the menu isn't working, but I found a way to turn it off—by initiating an ECG.
I tried to track my walk with 78% of battery charge, but 5 minutes later I got message: "power saving mode activated" and watch stopped tracking my walk.
I bought that watch to track my A-fib episodes. But, it was so tricky to take ECG. Almost every time I was getting "Inconclusive result" (see the attached photo").
So, I decided to return the watch to Garmin.
By the way, the option "Add Images" on this page doesn't work

Great Watch!

I upgraded my Venu 2S to the Venu 4 45mm and I'm so glad that I did. The battery life on this watch is incredible, lasting more than 11 days on a single charge. I love the Training Readiness features that the Venu 2 did not have. It's a great looking watch too with a larger display than then Venu 2. I'll never buy another smartwatch that isn't Garmin.

Warning to left-hand users

Software features are great such as workout suggestions and overall body stats. 45mm is a perfect screen size to review email and text messages. Surprisingly, the built-in flashlight actually comes in handy from time to time. Only downside is that either the little square notch for the mic or the protrusion of the watch's metal frame under the rather large action-button can be abrasive against the skin of the wrist bone (ulnar styloid process) when worn on the left hand. Didn't realize it was scraping my skin until after completing a half marathon.
