Great for golf, activity tracking not so much

All the features for golf are great. I was expecting that the watch would automatically track my runs and walks with a map and mileage, but it doesn't do that. Guess I'm going to have to keep my Oura ring for that feature. I think the sleep tracking is more accurate than Oura and I really like the morning summary to get me going in the morning. It's concise and accurate. The weather feature is also accurate. Great for golf but wish it did more to automatically track my other activities.

I hope I can learn to use all of the features that are available on this golf watch. I have had some issues with inputting scores, thinking I input them correctly, but some didn't match up with the scorecard.... something to work on. Love that it will factor in elevation and wind speed. It does much more than my last Garmin (VivoActive 4S, which finally wore out).

The Best Golf Watch Made BETTER!!

I am a long-time user of Garmin products... I had 2 S62's and my Wife had one also, they were fantastic and cutting edge at the time, added the CT10 sensors and you had every data point from your rounds readily available. With the release of the S70, the best got even better!! The screen is bigger and amazingly bright and clear in all lighting conditions!! The startup time for powering on and satellite acquisition is very fast. All the features are solid and easy to use. The 42mm for my wife is everything you could ask for in a slightly smaller screen size.. I just love this new watch and will continue to use it happily for years to come!!

I used to have the S62 and it was great but seemed cumbersome for my small wrist and the new S70 smaller size version is perfect for all day everyday wear !

I purchased it a few weeks ago and have used it a few times. Still trying to get used to golf settings and viewings but so far so good. Would love a follow up phone call w Garmin rep to handle questions.
