Artisan 72” TV Media Cabinet

The cabinet was packed securely and all the hardware was included as well as some extra parts. The unit is made of wood (pine?) - no pressed board or particle board. Finishes were good. The only problem was a deep gouge in the top board which had to be filled and stained to match. Assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow. It took 3-4 hours to put together going slowly and methodically through the steps.
Overall a solid, attractive piece of furniture at a reasonable price.

Best purchase ever

I've purchased home furniture in the past that I had to put together before and was dreading the assembly process due to those past experiences. Well I was greatly surprised when I got the this product home and started assembling it. The instructions were in clear and concise steps. Each part was labeled and the assembly parts (i.e.; screws and fastenings, etc.) were packaged in separate bags so there was not mistaking which screw or fastener to use, and where to use it. They even send spares of the screws and fasteners in case you lose or drop one and cant't find it (Which I have done on occasion). The materials were very high grade and almost every part had pre-drilled holes to make the assembly much easier. The only exception to this was for the magnetic closures. The pre-drilled holes were missing.

Classsy, well-made cabinet

This piece replaces a small filing cabinet, an end table with drawers, and a basket on my floor. Now one attractive solid wood piece holds mailing supplies and stationary, printer paper and ink supplies, important manuals and files and things that I want close at hand. Glad that I bought the 72 inch size.
My son-in-law spent about 3 hours assembling it, but the instructions worked Ok. The wood is solid and the finish goes with my other wood pieces. I have cherry, walnut and oak in the room and am glad that I chose this color.
By the way, I took my time and reviewed lots of pieces online and chose this one based on the large number of very positive reviews. Very happy customer.

TV Console

We are very pleased with our black tv console. It is everything we expected. It did arrive with 3 scrapes on the top that took the finish off. They were toward the rear so we touched it up with a black paint stick. The scratches did not appear to be from shipping since the box and wrapping were intact. I would suggest that you provide a grade better grade of screw for the hinges, since the soft brass ones tend to strip easily. I got some galvanized ones at home depot and they worked good. Your assembly instructions were easy to follow. In spite of the issues mentioned we were very pleased with the product.

Well Built

Well made unit. Instructions were superb. Took me 3 hrs however it was worth it because it is priced right. Only flaw it came damaged. The top has a 1inch long 1/2 inch wide hole in it. When I was unwrapping it & noticed the damage i was furious. This hole was not caused from shipping no way. It was wrapped so well shipping could have not done this damage. Whoever packed this unit damaged it. I got in touch w/ Simpli Home & they said they will send me a new top. Thank God it was the top & not one of the sides because changing the top will be a piece of cake opposed to a damaged side piece which means I would have to disassemble the entire unit. Simpli Home told me 12 weeks I have to wait for a new top. You have to be kidding 12 weeks. well in the meantime I have some pictures on top of the cut hiding it for now. How could you possibly ship something out with such damage. Someone is not doing there job. Would of gave them 5 stars if it was not damaged. Love the unit it is superb and rich looking.
