Good basic laptop, but not impressed with Windows 11. The GUI changes that 11 brings and the difficulty in finding solutions to issues is frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Lenovo laptops at work, and I purchased a ThinkStation for my home PC. When my wife's HP broke, I decided to purchase this Lenovo laptop for her. The price on this device was great and I already knew how good the performance was being very familiar with the Lenovo brand. She was not too happy as we have almost always repurchased HP products throughout the years having good luck with them. Also, she doesn't like change, so it was hard for her at first, but I didn't give her a choice since I purchased before telling her. We are talking about a night and day change once I set it up and gave her a quick tour. She became a believe after one evening with the laptop. Her favorite feature outside of the fast boot and inter speed is the backlit keyboard. She never had this before and always had to turn on a light at night to be able to type. It's not that HP didn't have this feature on their products, but it came at a cost. I can't believe how feature rich the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim has built into it for the price point. This thing is very lite, and the battery lasts a long time. As for service, I've had experience with this with my ThinkStation and I can tell you Lenovo service is top notch and has never given me attitude or lousy service. I have nothing really bad to say about this purchase, (nor does my wife) and WE would recommend Lenovo to anyone. The only negative is like every other laptop company, there was a massive amount of bloatware that needed to be removed.

The procesor core i5 of my notebook is the lastest version. The memory ram DDR5 is very fast.
